A Pool Drain and Clean is the process of draining, Power washing (or acid washing), and refilling a pool. This process is necessary when a green to clean is not an option due to embedded algae and excessive debris
In the event of a Green To Clean procedure not being an option due to excessive debris and embedded algae, a Drain and Clean process will take place. This consists of draining and power washing the entire pool. Depending on the severity of the embedded algae, it may need an Acid-Wash Treatment, which includes a power wash and then an acid wash. A Pool Start-Up is done upon completion.
